  • Men's Tennis Wraps Up Day One Play at ITA Northeast Regionals

    The Sacred Heart University Men’s Tennis team wrapped up the first full day of play at the ITA Northeast Regionals at Princeton University. Seiji Hosokawa won the first round of qualifying versus Simon Wilmer then lost in the final round to Wogen from Drexel. This morning, the duo of Wibmer and Casladuc lost the first round of doubles play to Kazakov/McAllister from Cornell 8-1. Meanwhile Wibmer was edged by Michael Sun from Yale in the first round of singles. The team returns to action tomorrow for the second day of play.
  • The Duo of Casalduc and Wibmer seals A Doubles Championship at Hofstra Invite

    The Sacred Heart University Men’s Tennis team wrapped up the final day of play at the Hofstra Invite this afternoon. The doubles duo of Casalduc and Wibmer had the best day as the duo won the A doubles championship. The team returns to action on Thursday Oct. 11 when they travel to Princeton to compete in the ITA Northeast Regional Tournament.
  • SHU Wraps Up Day One Play at Hofstra Invite

    The Sacred Heart University Men’s Tennis team wrapped up day one play at the Hofstra Invite this afternoon. The doubles duo of Casalduc and Wibmer advanced all the way to the semi-finals match which will be played tomorrow. Wibmer also defeated the number one seeded player in the singles match and Casalduc will be playing in the semi-finals tomorrow on the singles side of the flight B singles.
  • Pioneers Wrap Up Play at UCONN Invite

    The Sacred Heart Men’s Tennis wrapped up play at the UCONN Invitational this afternoon. The team will return to action on Friday Sept. 21 when they compete in the Hofstra Invite.
  • Pioneers Conclude Day One of 2018-19 Season at UCONN Invite

    The Sacred Heart men’s tennis team opened its fall 2018 season at the UCONN Invitational this afternoon. The team returns six players while adding three freshman to the team as well. The team returns to action tomorrow as they continue play against the seven other teams in the tournament including Bentley, Boston University, Fairfield, Holy Cross host UCONN and Quinnipiac.
