Men's Track & Field Opens Indoor Campaign At Boston U.

The Sacred Heart University men's track and field team opened the indoor season on Saturday Pioneers started at Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Saturday, December 1. 

The throwers performed well for the Pioneers, led by Christian Turner in the shot put. He had two throws meet the New England Championships qualifying standards on the day. His throw of 14.98m (39-1.75 ft) was good for eighth place and is the second-best throw in the NEC thus far on the year. Teammates Andy Suarez, Liam McDade, and O'Brian Joslyn also threw personal-bests throughout the meet. 

The Pioneers will continue their indoor season Saturday, December 8th, at the Yale Season Opener.
