FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart University Women's Soccer sophomore student Hannah Busch was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American Women's Soccer Second Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Busch wins her first career CoSIDA Academic All-American honor and becomes the first player in program history to earn the distinctive academic honor.
Busch is enrolled at Sacred Heart as a student in the SHU's nursing program. During her time as an undergraduate, Busch compiled an impressive 4.00 cumulative grade-point average to achieve her degree in Nursing. Busch joins just 32 other members to be selected to the All-American Teams and she was part of twenty five of the 33 members of the Academic All-American Division I women's soccer teams sport a perfect 4.0 GPA. The 11 members of the first team average a near perfect GPA of 3.99, with the complete 33-member women's team averaging a 3.96 GPA.
